Green’s twist on a Concentration spell is, naturally, a ramp spell. Press On may look like a power-crept Explore at first blush! After all, it immediately draws a card and lets you play an extra land, and you’ll still be able to double up on lands in future turns if it sticks around.
However, in testing, the drawback to this card isn’t the Concentration aspect of it… it’s the fact that it’s an aura in the first place! Without a creature in play, this card can’t be played at all, making it less attractive for a traditional big green ramp deck, but more rewarding for a deck with 1-drops and token generators.
