While it’s certainly no Skull Clamp, Glass Sword offers a decent amount of utility. At its most straightforward, it lets you trade a bit of toughness for power, but the Blood token (or tokens) it creates can be cashed out for card draw in a pinch. Decks that care about Equipment, or artifacts in general, can find further ways to take advantage of this!

In our story, Tourmaline was unwittingly given cursed blood to drink and gained the powers of a blood hunter! In one of her first real battles, the hilt of her glass sword shattered, gashing open her hand. To her surprise, cold blue bolts burst from the wound and danced across the blade. She soon realized she could harness this power… if she was willing to pay the price.
